Welcome!
Hi, I’m Trevor!
Primarily self-taught, I’m an oil painter, with experience in watercolour, acrylic, and pen & pencil drawings. I’m passionate about sharing God’s love through dramatic imagery.
You’ll discover redemptive themes that contain profound truths and positive symbolism, such as new beginnings, the power of light, and redemptive love. Vibrant colours, an intentional composition, and a contemplative process define my varied artistic styles.
These creative pieces help people journey beyond the struggles and pains of human nature to the renewal of life overflowing with faith, hope, and charity.
Discover the mystery of beauty through my artistic works. Be blessed!
In his creative endeavors, Trevor reflects the desire to be an open vessel for truth, beauty, something deeper, and something higher. The work is alive with possibilities, feeding those who linger and ponder.
The brilliant artistic skill aside, Trevor’s ability to feature emotion through the canvas is the reason I love the piece—passion, friendship, nostalgia, excitement, fandom—a piece of our childhood captured inside the frame.
The final result was far more than I could ever imagine. The colours were so vibrant, and the symbolism behind every part of the piece was incredible. I love exploring the painting and finding new details that were placed there for me to discover.
I like the art as it illustrates the beauty of nature, the colors (green, dark red, brown) blend in well together. I also like the details on the maple leaf, which remind me of the beautiful fall colors we have in Canada.
It is not simply a piece of art; it is a story with many layers of meaning and symbolism that keeps me coming back to it to contemplate what it seeks to say time and time again, and in new and deeper ways.
His paintings invite us to sit for a while to ponder and contemplate. The themes range from playful to sombre, from religious to temporal, and often lead us to connect with our inner reserves of reverence, gratitude and joy.
This piece is more than art! It testifies to God’s providence, the faithfulness of the artist, the love between brothers, and the glory of God being ‘man fully alive.’
