Begin Again

Leadership is a battle. There is conflict at every level: personal, communal, and societal.
Part of the problem is that oftentimes we fail ourselves and others. The bigger victory in these cases is to say no to discouragement. For discouragement is a great enemy, and many times, the second evil and associated enemy of defeat.
What to do? Begin again. Every hour, every day, and every moment.
Yes, it is important that we have freedom to try and freedom to fail. When the inevitable failure comes, rise with the mantra: I Begin Again.
Beginning again demonstrates a great example of character, it establishes trust with our teammates, and defeats discouragement.
It might ask us to let go of a certain situation or forgive our wrongdoers. It might encourage us to own up to our failings or learn from our mistakes. Whatever the case may be, it finishes with: I Begin Again.
For a great leader won’t become defeated. Failures and losses arise with the battle of leadership; it is by beginning again that they are overcome.
